and boates. A 300 year old renaissance garden with roses in abundance. Romantic
landscaped garden from 1850 with viewpoints overlooking the fjord, mountains
and waterfalls. The tennant's farm Treo gives an impression of everyday life
with farm animals and activities. Kitchen & Herbgarden with herbs, flowers,
vegetables & fruits. The Chef at Baroniet Rosendal serves dinners with ingredients
from the garden in The Blue Room at the Manor, or in Storakjøkenet at
Avlsgården. From July lunch is served in the new Kitchen & Herbgarden

Kvinnherad Kyrkje
One of Norway’s finest medieval churches, built in stone around
1250. Owned by Baroniet Rosendal from 1678 - 1910. Burial chamber built
around 1670 with beautiful sarcophaguses.
Art exhibitions
in the Wine Cellar
Baroniet Rosendal has an extensive art collection, and every year there
is a sales exhibition with modern art, in addition to an exhibition featuring
historic art.

Bed & Breakfast at Baroniet Rosendal’s home farm, restored back
to the 1850s. Plain, romantic rooms and breakfast served in Storakjøkenet
with home baked rolls and a fire lit in the open fireplace.

Dinners in Storakjøkenet and Borgstovo at the home farm. In the
summer season we offer a three course dinner with food based on ecological
ingredients from the Kitchen&Herb Garden, served by the open fireplace,

ecological ingredients from the Kitchen&Herb Garden is served.
The Tea Room
The Tea Room serves homemade pastry, coffe and our tea specially composed
for Baroniet Rosendal; the Baroness’ Rose Tea. Souvenires, art cataloges
and art posters.
An evening
at the Manor
Experience an evening at the manor from 1665. Aperitif in the wine cellar,
a candle lit guided tour, concert in the red room, 3- or 5- course dinner
in the Blue dining room (max. 36 pax) and end the evening with coffee
and cake by the 17th century fireplace in the Old kitchen.

Walk on your own in Rosendal Garden or book a guide (please book in advance).
The garden spans over 60acres from the renaissance Rose Garden to the
Victorian landscape garden from 1850, and to the newly restored Kitchen&Herb
Garden.

Treo
Just outside the lndscape gaden you will find the the tennants farm Treo
with animals and activities in the summer season.
A walk by the Hatteberg
falls
A short walk on well trodden paths will take you to the river and up beside
the waterfall, over a bridge above the falls and back down to the landscape

the wonderful landscape that was a part of Marcus Gerhard Hoff Rosenkrone
garden art is still a magnificent sight. You may very likely meet them
