Classical Weekend

Rosendal Kammermusikkfestival was established in 2016 and has since established itself as one of the most important classical festivals in Norway. The festival has been led by Leif Ove Andsnes in collaboration with Baroniet Rosendal, and has attracted both national and international performers and a dedicated audience.

In August 2025, the tenth and final Rosendal Kammermusikkfestival took place. The collaboration with Leif Ove Andsnes continues nonetheless; from 2026, he will be the artistic advisor for a new classical concert series, Classical Weekend, at Baroniet Rosendal.

The concert series will preserve the musical legacy of the festival, but in a new and more concentrated form – two weekends during the summer, with a high artistic level and a clear thematic framework.

• Friday, August 14 at 19:00: Opus 13 and Leif Ove Andsnes
• Saturday, August 15 at 17:00: Alma Kraggerud and Natallia Papova
• Saturday, August 15 at 21:30: Leif Ove Andsnes and Jazzverket at Nærhuslåven
• Sunday, August 16 at 19:00: Torleif Thedéen and Marianna Shirinyan
