In 2026, Tore Renberg and Christian Ihle Hadland set out on the kingdom’s highways under the auspices of artistic intelligence.
At the top of the travel chest lie Renberg’s poems and a bundle of piano pieces. Music and poetry will meet in widely different ways. They will hold each other in mutual iron grip, dance gently, or chatter away in earnest frivolity. Here comes the ode to the unborn grandchild, the theft-pack ballad about the clumsy youngsters and the funeral oration for the Trønder who got a passport to hell. Welcome to a laid-back, wide-ranging and wonderfully competent evening, spiced with anecdotes and dialogue between the artists.
The tour crosses municipal boundaries throughout 2026, and we are pleased to open the doors for Tore Renberg and Christian Ihle Hadland, two of our finest in their fields. This is not to be missed.
About Tore Renberg:
Tore Renberg (b. 1972) is one of our time’s most central authors. A broad readership knows the iconic novels about Jarle Klepp, the outré Teksas series and the psychological mystery novels Du er så lys, Tollak til Ingeborg and Lorden. In 2023, he published the historical novel Lungeflyteprøven, and in 2025 came his first poetry collection, Øie=Viise, 1720. Renberg’s authorship is known for its extraordinary range, polyphonic linguistic sense and strong empathy with the human mind. The Stavanger author has received numerous literary awards, and several of his novels have been adapted for film and theatre. His books are published in 26 countries. In spring 2025, Renberg was appointed festival poet at De Litterære Festspill in Bergen.
About Christian Ihle Hadland:
Christian Ihle Hadland sat down at the piano as an eight-year-old, and has since built a reputation as an excellent soloist and chamber musician. His international breakthrough came when he was selected as a New Generation Artist by the BBC in 2011, and concluded the engagement with a celebrated concert at The Proms in London. He has performed with several of Europe’s leading orchestras and conductors, but is particularly fascinated by the greatness in music’s small format, something he enjoys as artistic director of the chamber music festival in his hometown of Stavanger. Hadland’s repertoire stretches from English Renaissance to Norwegian contemporary music, but he is most at home with the great classics: Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Bach.

Please write which tickets the transfer is payment for.
Most likely problems:
- If the Continue button is grey, normally the required fields have not been filled in properly. The most common mistake is phone number with space in the end or some other sign. Please try 00000000 (just 8 zeros) to be able to move on. We still have your email address for shipping your tickets.
- No printer at home? No email received? No worries, as long as the purchase is OK (money has actually left your account), you are on our lists. Just tell us which email address was used for the purchase, and we will find your order.
- The event might be sold out even if the home page button is not updated with "sold out". The appearing message "Beklager utsolgt" means "Sorry, sold out". You may send an email to info@baroniet.no to be in a waiting list. In case of extra tickets we will handle the waiting list in the order of time and date on the emails.
- Some banks have added extra security on Internet shopping. It is then required to log on to the Internet bank to approve the purchase.
- If your computer is set up with the wrong date, a common certificate error message will appear. Just ignore and move on.
