In natural interplay with Domenico Scarlatti and Harald Sæverud.

Bjørn's curiosity about new musical expressions has also led to many exciting collaborations with renowned artists from Norway, Sweden and Denmark over the years. Ingebjørg Bratland

Ingebjørg Bratland is a ballad singer and songwriter from Edland in Vinje and one of Norway's most beloved and sought-after pop artists.
The Vinje native already has a list of achievements that most would envy. With songs like "Jul i Svingen", "Ingen som du", "På avstand", "Fordi eg elskar deg" – and many more – she has embedded herself in the Norwegian soul.
Bratland is best known through her songs and albums, where she interprets her own and others' songs in her own unique way, reaching a large audience of all ages.
2026 started with first place on Spotify with the song "Baby, du er rå!" together with the band Hagle.

Oscar Danielson

Norway's friend - and in the case of Oscar Danielson, one can safely say that the likeable Swede is one of the very best friends we have!

Oscar Danielson is his own genre, and is considered by many to be Sweden's best lyricist. After the album "Stockholm i mitt hjärta" (2011) with the song "Besvärjelse", he has gained a large audience and toured extensively throughout Scandinavia.

Now the Stockholm-born 49-year-old comes to Rosendal with a show that evokes laughter as well as tears. The theme is – of course – women. These are songs about love, filled with seriousness and deeply human observations, spiced with the humour that is Oscar's trademark.

Eva Weel Skram and Stein Thorleif Bjella have made a version of Oscar's song "Besvärjelse" with Norwegian lyrics, "Vi lover".

Vamp belongs to the elite of Norwegian music. They have developed a distinctive expression in the meeting between music and lyrics that has touched the Norwegian soul.

They have achieved numerous honours and accolades, including five Spellemannprisen awards, the Prøysen Prize and the Medaas Prize. They have released 18 albums and sold over one million records.

Classical Weekend: Opus 13 and Leif Ove Andsnes

Opus13 has in a short time established itself as one of the most exciting young chamber music ensembles internationally. The quartet consists of the Norwegian violinists Sonoko Miriam Welde and Edvard Erdal, together with Albin Uusijärvi on viola and Daniel Thorell on cello.
This evening, you will also hear them perform together with one of the world's leading pianists, Leif Ove Andsnes.

Classical Weekend: Alma Kraggerud and Natallia Popova

The young Norwegian violinist Alma Kraggerud has already made a strong mark both as a soloist and a chamber musician, including after her victory in Virtuos in 2022. Together with the experienced pianist Natallia Papova, this will be an atmospheric concert in Riddersalen.
The program features works by Edvard Grieg, Amy Beach, and Franz Schubert.

Classical Weekend: Torleif Thedéen and Marianna Shirinyan

Torleif Thedéen is one of the Nordic region's foremost cellists and has for several decades had an extensive international career as a soloist and chamber musician. Marianna Shirinyan is considered one of Europe's most sought-after pianists, known for her virtuosic playing and great musical sensitivity.
This evening, they will play works by, among others, Dmitri Shostakovich, Samuel Barber, and Richard Strauss.
