Guided tour in Kvinnherad
Church
One of the most beautiful medieval churches in Norway, built in stone
arount 1250. Owned by the Barony Rosendal from 1678 - 1910. Tomb from
around 1670 containing beautiful sarcophagi.
Stone
park, Rosendal
On the way down again from the Barony Rosendal, a little hidden treasure
is also recommended: the Stone park with large, small, majestic, rare,
2500 million years old stones from all over the Folgefonn peninsula. A
little oasis with water, forest, stones, picnic areas and a restored timber
mill.
The Stone park is modelled in cooperation with sculptor Bård Breivik,
stonecarver Rolf Karlsen, and the geologists Johan Naterstad and Øystein
Jansen.
Hiking

A nice little stroll around the Hatteberg waterfall on a little path.
The path passes the waterfall with a little bridge making it possible

A nice little stroll on a forest road to the Bondhus lake with a grand
view to the Bondhus glacier and the Emeror's path. Also a nice startingpoint
for hiking in the Folgefonna National Park. (NB: 22 km from Rosendal,
