Reason and Emotion.
Landscape and Romanticism in Contemporary Art.

What position does Romanticism hold in the world today? Do we still battle with tensions between emotion and reason? Where do we locate landscape in contemporary art? This exhibition is an attempt to open this discussion, showing several international artists all tackling these ideas from many different viewpoints. The works included cover a diverse range of media, pulling out and opening up ideas and concepts born of Romanticism both in support and critique, focusing particularly on the relationship between science and wonder, reason and emotion.
